I. Organizational Moment

Teacher

Students

  • Today is the 12th of December.

II. Introducing the Lesson Objectives

The teacher introduces the topic and explains what students will practice and achieve by the end of the lesson.

III. Competition Format: “Hot Spot Quiz”

Today’s lesson is held as a competition called “Hot Spot Quiz.” The class works in four teams.

Rules

  • The quiz includes 20 questions.
  • Each team assigns one student as a secretary to write answers on the provided sheets.
  • Other team members discuss and find the correct answers together.

Winning & Feedback

  • The first team to answer all 20 questions correctly wins.
  • Incorrect answers are checked and corrected together after submission.

IV. Checking Homework

Homework: Learn the song “You and Me” by heart.

V. Mini Project

Students read a quiz about Robert and, after listening to the audio recording, answer questions and compare their guesses with Robert’s actual answers.
